Read MoreI was very sad to learn of Alex passing. I worked with Alex at 3M. He was the most knowledgeable insulated railroad joint person in the world. I know his family is very proud of him. His Christian faith was always present in his business and personal life. He was always talking about how proud he was of his children and wife. I know he will be missed by many.

We worked in the same Group at 3M for many years. Since we were a small Group, we did not work together on a day to day basis. Alex was a good friend, and will be missed. We had some very memorable trips together.

My condolences to the entire Kovalchuk families. I worked with Alex side by side for many years, and he called me on April 1 to wish me well on our 18th year of retirement from 3M. He always spoke highly of his entire family. I will miss him.
