Everyone who ever met Alex was aware of his charisma and his breadth of knowledge. Those who spent time with him became aware of his wonderful sense of humor. He taught me so much. I will miss him and send deep sympathies to Carole about whom he spoke with awe and the family

My deepest condolences, Carole and family. Alex will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He had a great sense of humor and was knowledgeable above all about everything pertaining to art and provenance. He was always willing to help and assist those of us in need of his expertise. I hope there will be a virtual opportunity for those of us unable to attend in person. I will be out of town but would appreciate being there via streaming.
