Not sure what to say?

Dorothy

Very sorry to hear of Al's passing. Alex always said you were his Gem. May your memories with Alex comfort you in the days ahead.

Your smile, your hearty laughter, your whistling, our long talks together with amazing stories of your life. Watching you hop out of your chair to polka or waltz with mom, getting everyone up at 2 a.m. for eggs and coffee are priceless memories.
You were always willing to lend a hand, even if it meant walking us through it over the phone.
These are things that we will cherish in our hearts forever. You will truly be missed.

Al, some are lucky enough to have one great father but we are very fortunate to have had you in our lives. My mother and you complimented each other and demonstrated what a loving relationship is really like for nearly 28yrs. We could not have been happier that you were able to attend our wedding and knowing that you were proud to be there and a part of it all.

Al, What a great dad and grandfather you were to us. Your huge hugs and welcoming smile made us all feel loved. You and my mom had 29 wonderful years together. She doted on you and she was your "honey". We are so blessed you were a part of our lives. Save a piece of cherry pie for me...

Love,
Mark, Barb, and Family

Grandpa Al, We are so grateful we had as much time with you as we did. Family gatherings, visits to you and gram, any time we spent together, will always be memories I treasure. The love you showed for us did not go unnoticed. Your little buddy will surely miss the talks and playtime he had with you as well. You will be greatly missed.

Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in Heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know...

Very sorry to hear of Alex's passing. his smile was contagious. We will miss seeing him at the senior center.

Al was such a happy go lucky guy. His smile said it all. We enjoyed being with him and Dorothy at many of the church functions. He was always so proud to introduce his sons and daughters to everyone after mass. There will always be an empty space in the third row on Saturdays. He will really be missed
