I played with Alex in the Senior Showme Games and he was an unbelievable athlete. He saved many a sure goal with his anticipation and he was a joy to be with in the bar after the games. He will be sorely missed.

We were so blessed to have known Alex. He was a man of integrity and great faith. We will miss you.

Dearest Alex was one of the kindest persons I ever knew. He was always a beacon that lit up the room whenever he entered, and where ever he was, it was always a party.

Alex was one of the orneriest yet kind hearted people I have ever met. His sense of humor was ceaseless and rampant. Alex did not live or laugh in a small, meek manner- you always knew when he was in the room, and that was always a good thing. I came to know him and his lovely wife, Miss Carrie, as they co-facilitated the St. Louis Public Library Scottish Heritage shows with the Highland Dancers Dance Caledonia this last year. Alex was a wonderful guy and a joy to everyone who knew him. We will all miss him.

I will miss ALex dearly. My favorite memory of him was just this last October when I was standing next to him as the Scottish-American Military announced his name as recipient of their award for his service in promoting the Scottish community. The shock followed by the sheer joy was an amazing thing to see and one I will remember with thanks that I was there with him.

well i an sorry for your loss. i did not know alex personally but i have heard him many times on the radio. his way of singing was very nice and just wanted you to know that he gave happiness to a stranger. once again sorry for your loss
