Not sure what to say?

Not a day goes by that I don't think of our awesome nephew - sometimes my thoughts make me laugh out loud and sometimes I get teary eyed, but there is no way to think of Alex without evoking emotion! My life has been greatly blessed by knowing Alex, by loving Alex and by his continual presence in my heart. I am so very grateful for the 12 years we all had with him. His joyful embrace of life will live on in all of us. We miss you Alex and will never stop loving you. Love, Julie

To Alex,

It is April Fools Day and it is your day Alex. You loved a good laugh with family and friends. I am laughing with you now.

I am your's and Dan's step-mother now and very proud to be. When we used to do things together, like our road trips to Disneyland, Legoland, or any other kind of "land", sometimes you would point to me and then to yourself and say "you and me, Cindy" it really is true. You and me, kid!

All my love,

Cindy

Enjoy your day with family and friends remembering Alex- When I think of him- I think of laughter- He was always such a goof around the dinner table bringing smiles to everyone's faces - I think of his raggedy old blanket that seemed to share every adventure with him- I remember being concerned because nobody was a stranger- the whole world was his friend- He'd walk up to anyone and begin a conversation.

And yesterday as I was driving at lunch time I thought as a third grade teacher-...

Hello Paul and Cindy and JoJo,

I am so sorry we missed Alex's party. He is forever in our hearts as we remember the vibrant personality he had. We still think about the time he spent the night at our home and how happy the kids were. Love, The Brazones

Paul, Cindy, Jo-Jo: So sorry we missed this - just today the computer got working - I feel bad that we missed the celebration - We will be there from now on since we have the date - I know he is in your thoughts and prayers - he will never be gone as long as he is in your hearts - Love, Bonnie and Omar

Alex,

You are 18! I cannot imagine you as a young man. Yet, I can almost sense your youthful maturity, your love of people, your urgency to share what you have and your quest for joy in just being with others.

You would have loved your celebration on Saturday. Everyone was there just about. Tyler is so mature and handsome. Cody is a looker too, and such a gentleman. Michael has a sense of peacefulness, like his Dad. Him and Julien are two great-looking young men. You...

Dear Alex,
I never really knew you, except through your brother Daniel. I was his 2nd grade teacher at Houston. He would write about you in his lifebook as his happy, spontanious
baby brother.
Happy birthday Alex!!! I have been blessed to know your family.

We can't believe it has been six years since we last saw Alex but we think about him every day. We donated to Friends for Life in his memory.

You are in my thoughts daily as you smile at me from the refrigerator!
Forever young; forever loved; forever missed.
