I'm sorry to hear of Al's passing. I was one of the first females on patrol in the 12th District and Al and his partner Dominick treated us professionally and kindly. I'm glad that his son followed in his footsteps and became a police officer.

Al, I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear of your loss. In 1975 he helped break in a new CPD tactical police officer, who will be forever grateful for his expert knowledge and council which stayed with me for the rest of my years on the department.
