Not sure what to say?

Thanks to Dr Venables who cared for me as a 10 year old in 1972, I was able to lead a normal life. I am now 61, with a family of my own. RIP

I was lucky enough to be cared for by Dr Venebles from birth to 16. I always remember his kind nature and the comfort he gave my parents. I'm now 52 and have 3 beautiful daughters thanks partly to the great Dr Venebles. R.i.P, I take comfort knowing your sitting on the highest cloud with the biggest and brightest wings. A true hero, gentleman and brilliant doctor

Thank you Dr Alex Venables, for caring for me in 1972 at the age of 10. Following lifesaving heart surgery that year, I have enjoyed a full life. Thank you, Dr Venables, from me and from all the other children at Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne.

Thanks to Dr Venebles I have been able to have a 'regular' and fulfilling life. My condolences to his family and thank you Dr. as a five year-old in 1972, I didn't realize just how special you were.

Dr Venables, as well as being a wonderful cardiologist, was always kind and respectful to the patients, their parents, and to the nursing staff, I am sorry to hear of his passing.
