When Michael Neumann spoke of this young mans death tonight at the Folsom Symphony we were so shocked. We have been coming to the Folsom Symphony from the very start and always enjoyed watching Alexander playing the cello with such passion. I did not know his name until tonight and had just mentioned to my husband that he was missing tonight when the concert began. The piece they played in his honor was very beautiful and the audience was very touched. Twenty seven should be just the start...

I just saw this, and my heart is just broken... Alex was one of the good guys... great musician, just the nicest kid.. Loved having him on tour with us both in Europe and Brazil... loved seeing him play and continue his love for music. I am just so very sad, and can't say how sorry I am that Alex is not here with us... Prayers go to his family.. this is just so very very sad and hard...

My little brother was great in so many ways. A very talented cellist. A wonderful friend to all who met him. Fun sense of humor and personality. I'm lucky to say I knew him, love him, and consider him a friend.
