I remember you, Alex, as the little boy's voice on the other end your father's phone at the VA Medical Center in San Diego. It is hard to forget all the times I went to chase down your father, so you could have a few words with him.
No matter where I had to go to find him, your dad was always sure to come to the phone so you could carry on your business -- even if it was just to say "hello -- I miss you."
