Not sure what to say?

May he rest in peace

A cherished friendship that grew deeper as the years passed - my parents were very fortunate to have you both in their lives. I will always remember my "Uncle" Al, my godfather with love.

Dear Maureen & Family,

Just wanted you to know how sorry I am for your loss and that all of your family members are in my thoughts and prayers. May you be comforted in your time of need.

Dear Canavan Family,

May I share a prayer for God's consolation for you grieving Alex's passing unto the Lord whom he loved, whom he desired all of New England to know. I thank God for the opportunity which Alex gave to me to thrive at WEZE, and for the example of joyful, purposeful discipleship which he exemplified every day. We shall miss him, but rejoice that he now enjoys his eternal reward, which we all hope one day to attain! In His mercy,

Maureen, I'm so sorry to hear about Alex. May the love around you help you through the days ahead. With sincerest sympathy. Love to you and your family.

To the family of Alex Canavan: I met Alex at a men's retreat back in 2003. I recognized his voice from the radio station. Later we met again at the Boston Noon Hour. Alex was always encouraging to me, and was like a father to me as well. Mostly he loved the Lord and had tremendous faith. God Bless and keep you all. Robert Toomey, Boston, Ma.

To the Canavan Family, My deepest condolences on Al's passing. A wonderful friend to the St.John and extended families. You are now in God's hands. Shirley St.John, Easton, Ma.

I thank God for crossing paths in this life with Alex. He was truly a vessel to all of us of God's great love. Rest in peace my brother in the lord's arms. Al Spadorcia Kingdom of God Prayer Community, Quincy, Ma.

Life is but a stopping place
A pause in what’s to be
A resting place along the road
To sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant
to learn some things,
But never meant to stay...
Our destination is a place
Far greater than we know.
For some, the journey’s quicker,
For some the journey’s slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We’ll claim a great reward
And find an everlasting peace,
Together...
