Not sure what to say?

Just learning about Dr. Dekovich´s passing. I am so sorry for your loss. My family lived next door to you all on Stockwell in Detroit. My mother and I send prayers to you all! May he rest in peace.

So many good memories. I miss you dearly

To a man who treated me for years as his patient. I will miss him and his great personality along with his compassion. I looked forward to making him laugh. He was a great guy !

I had the privilege of working with Alex and calling him friend for 18 years. I feel I was a better person as a result. He was a wonderful doctor and person. Patients and coworkers still talked about him 10 years after he had left HFHS.He will be sorely missed and never forgotten. My sympathy and love to Kathy and the family.

Dr Dekovich was always so kind to my father who had cancer and to think he graciously took care of others battling cancer while he had his own fight with this awful disease. We just found out today and my dad cried as he really liked Dr Dekovich. He was always so loving and caring. My heart goes out to his family in this time.

My deepest sympathy to Alex's family and to all those lives he touched and made better.
I had the privelege to work and enjoy his friendship for twelve years at Henry Ford Hospital Fairlane.
He was a man with deep compassion and commitment to all of the patients lives he touched. As well to all the people he worked with.
The world shines a little less with his soul so high above our heads.
You are all in my prayers.

Rest in Peace Kind Sir. I met you your very first day here. We would both come in early and we had many early morning talks. You always spoke of your family and when they would be joining you ion Texas. If I recall, you still had someone in high school. You were warm, kind and a gentle spirit. I will never forget you. Always a smile.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I know you enterd in His Gates of Glory with Thanksgiving in your heart. Healed and...

Dear Matt and Family,

I wrote the word I associated with Dr. Dekovich incorrectly. The word is "wanderlust." Sorry. Dorothy

Dear Matt and Family,

I only met your father on two occasions while Andy's father was a patient at MD Anderson. I will always remember the compassions and kindness in his voice and demeanor. He was so generous with his time recommending doctors, off-duty visits, and a most successful endoscopy. I firmly believe that God his told him, "Job well done with your life, Dr. Dekovitch."

I know the challenges of the sorrow all of you will face now and in the years to come without...
