Not sure what to say?

So sorry that Alex lost his courageous battle.
My fond memory of Alex other than as a teacher is when my brothers and I would go out and TP his house. And then because we liked him so much, we would go back out in the morning and help clean it up.
He was the greatest and will be missed by all!

We were saddened to hear of the loss of Al, his positive outlook & good sense of humor is hard to come by these days, and his spirit lives on, his tribute was very touching & deserving. Our thoughts are with the family always.

It was always great to see Alex at the WMU Basketball games. He always made it a point to come down and say Hi to me at the scorers table. His smile and cheerfulness will be missed by many. May God bless Alex Forrester and help the family through this difficult time. Tom Chalker/WMU Public Address Announcer

I was saddened to learn of Coach Forresters passing. My Deepest Sympathy goes out to the Forrester Family. May God be with you during your time of sorrow.

Coach Forrester was a roll model and mentor for me. I am proud to have been taught and coached by Fuzzie.

The Lord has now called Fuzzie home to keep on Teaching in the Lords house. Sue, Scott, Mike and Eric my heart felt sorrow goes out to you all for the loss of a Great man, Husband, Father and Grand Father.

I, like all of the staff at Galesburg Augusta Community Schools, was saddened to learn about Fuzz's death. When we first learned of his illness, it was a shock, afterall, he had just worked beside me for a few months.
I was talking with Mr. Palmu before Christmas and I told him what I thought of Fuzz. I said that "He is the perfect example of what teachers should aspire to be." He was kind, gentle and fair man. He always had a twinkle in his eye. He was a good man and will be...

My deepest sympathy to the Forrester family. What a truly great and inspiring man. There is a reason everyone knows and has a story about Fuzz, because he went out of his way to make everyone feel important. He will be missed by us all.

1990 G-A Football Reunion September 2005

My deepest sympathies to the Forrester family. I remember him as a great coach, teacher and friend. May the memories we share provide solace. Included is a picture from the reunion of one of his teams.

Coach Forrester will truly be missed. I will always remember his enthusiasm, energy and desire to make others excell, especially as a key member of GA's legendary football coaching staff. May God's unquenchable love and peace be a deep comfort to Alex's family. Regards, Wally(#65)

I was very saddened and shocked to hear of Fuzz's passing.
I never had Fuzz for any classes or any sporting events. But I do have a story.
I had Fuzz for homeroom for my senior year. I had previously quit school in the middle of my junior year and got married. I returned in the fall to finish out my senior year. Upon going to homeroom on the first day, Fuzz took attendance and asked if anyone's name had not been called. I slowly raised my hand (as everyone was looking at me and...
