We have many happy memories of Al when he visited us in Cork. The Kelleher Family

My condolences to the Forsythe family. Al was a great guy. He visited Cork a couple of times with my uncle, Bill Scully. Happy days! Mary Kelleher.

Our condolences to the Forsythe family from Al's friends in Cork, Ireland - Maeve, Ed & Andrew Scully, Larry & Breda Kelleher & Niamh.

Nancy, I am so sorry that I could not attend the wake or the funeral due to prior work commitments that I could not change. Al was a good friend, and more importantly a good person. He will be missed. My condolences to you and your family. Rest in peace Al and may the sun rise up to greet you.

My sincerest condolences to the Forsythe Family. Al and I were classmates at St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City, and after all these years I finally learned of his connection to 9/11 as a first responder. Having lost a cousin in the WTC attack, I deeply appreciate what Al contributed that horrible day. Ironically, it just came to my attention that he spent his winters in Pompano, FL literally minutes away from my residence.
May he rest in peace and God bless his family.

-Chris...

Rest in peace, Al.

My Condolences to the Forsythe Family. I knew Al from the State FOP and also from the many times we hosted a few beers at McGovern's Tavern in Newark. We were both Lts. I was from Newark PD. Always had a good time with Al. May God Bless him.

work your magic in heaven, Al.

Working with Al in the JCPD communcations section (radio room) back in the early 80's was one laugh after another. Al had a rapier like wit and spared no one. He will be missed.
