ah my dear Mr Frickleton, always a gentleman, creative, intelligent and my astronomer. So many good memories up at the farm looking at the stars. May you rest in peace with Annie up in the stars, my dear Mr Frickleton. Will miss you.

Your dad was both a gentleman and a gentle man. It was always such a delight to have shared time with him at the theatre. Empathetic and kind, with that rapier wit
lurking just beneath the surface, Alex frequently had us in stitches; we are all enriched for having known him.

I met Alex when he joined the staff at the Downsview Rehabilitation Centre, and of course, being Scottish, we were friends right away,
He was a lovely man and we met for many lunches when we retired. My sincere condolences to the family.

Please know that Alex was much respected and highly thought of by his many friends at the WCB/WSIB. He always had a kind word and a cheery smile for his co-workers and clients. He was a true professional. The world is a poorer place for his passing.

I met Alex behind the scenes as a set builder extraordinaire. He could do just about anything with wood, from spindles to windows. Always thoughtful and interested with many interesting stories of his younger days in Scotland. A gentleman to the end.
