To Keith and Robin I am saddened to hear of your Father's passing. I remember him and your Mother with great fondness. A wonderful couple! I babysat the both of you when you quite young during my high school years in Chatham!! Always enjoyed looking after the two of you. I am sorry that our paths have never crossed again. Such fond and happy memories of a lovely kind and generous man. Alec was very much the life and sole of a party and a real inspiration to everyone who knew him. Alex had an infectious smile that showed his care for others. His encouraging words gave me great comfort as I started walking the life of recovery over 4 years ago. I remember many dinners with Alex and Jan as I was new in recovery. He was a gracious, kind, caring man always making sure I knew I was welcome in our recovery rooms. He had a great way of sharing his hope, strength, and experience which gave me great confidence to keep moving forward in recovery. Alex was an amazing person. He helped me in the early 90's as I was struggling horribly. You knew he was in the room because of his energy, laugh and accent. I always looked forward to hearing what he had to share. As my doctor he was so informative, kind and basically told me to get myself together and told me there was a solution. I will always carry with me what a beautiful couple Alex and Jan made, as well as how fun they were. May the Lord bless you Jan as well as the entire family.

Robin, Keith,and Brad you are in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult of times. I am so blessed to have had you all as part of my extended family.....when I needed it most! Alex and Joan were there for me after my parents died and I was raising my brother and sister alone.
