Cookie I am so sorry for your loss, you were such special neighbors! Clare is with the Lord too, it will be two years in Sept. We must get together! Sincerely Harriet Buffinga

May the Lord bless you as you continue to grieve the loss of your husband, father, and grandfather. My brothers and I grew up with the 3 Karrip boys, who lived next door to our family on the N.E. side of Grand Rapids back in the 1970's. I haven't seen the Karrips in years , but have many fond memories of the family.

Al was my fav cousin and he got me my first job at Steelcase. I really enjoyed working for him and he was a great guy will be sorely missed! Cookie I'm so sorry for your loss and may he rest in peace with his parents and his brother along with my parents. I know they are all looking down on us and our families. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

We just learned about Alex.we are in Florida .sorry about this late message. Our deepest sympathy to you all. God rest his soul .memory eternal.

Al (Coach Karrip) was my Rocket Football coach back in the late 1960's/early 1970's when he coached with his brother, Bob, and his nephews John & Jeff were my teammates. 45 years later I still remember his encouraging and uplifting spirit. He not only coached youth football, but he helped turn young boys into better young men. Thanks, Helen, and the rest of the family for sharing him with our "Aberdeen 49er's." It has been MANY years, but the blessing he was to me has never been forgotten. ...

Al (Mr. Karrip) was my rocket football coach at Aberdeen Park when he coached with his brother, Bob, and his nephews John and Jeff were my teammates. 45 years later I still remember his encouraging spirit. He not only coached youth football, but he helped young boys grow up to be better young men. Thanks, Coach Karrip, and thanks to his wife and family for allowing him to share his life with our "Aberdeen 49er's.".
