I was privileged to work with AMK when he was on the Court as Associate Justice and Chief Justice and I was Criminal Commissioner. He stopped by my office every day early in the morning and talked. Our friendship continued after I left the court and cared for my son, who died in 2015. He was a GREAT public servant but, even more to me, one of the kindest men I have ever known who remained my friend through difficult times.
