I was extremely sorry to learn of Alex´s untimely death. I knew and worked with Alex for several years during his time with Smurfit. In fact, I first interviewed Alex at Napier University during their graduate recruitment programme and successfully persuaded him that the corrugated packaging industry would be a good career to follow.
