Not sure what to say?

Sandy, I was so saddened to hear the news about Alex. I am so here for you at any time and I'm praying for God to truly bless you in every way.I love you both so much. Your husband made a huge impact in my life. He was not only my mentor, but a very special friend who will live in my heart forever. His love of God, children, music, writing children's books "JJ McFrog", composing musicals "Noah's Ark", arranging songs, encouraging all around him, and his humor were evident in his life. He is...

It would take a book for us to
say what Alex has meant to us.
He was a very dear friend since
1975, we shared so many good
times and had the priviledge of
watching Chad & Jill grow into
Godly adults. Thank you for the
honor of calling Alex our friend.
We love you Sandy, look forward
to seeing you real soon.

Dear Sandy & Family,
I was saddened to hear of Alex's homegoing. I thought of your family last month when my daughter graduated from CHC. Our loss is heaven's gain. Love, Rick & Family

I will always remember Alex Lackey for his sense of humor. He could always make people laugh but also was kind and loving. I will miss him very much. Shirley Shaw

I will miss my Dad immensely.

Come on over, we're having a party . . . six, yes six . . . hey honee . . .

The last time I saw him was standing in the driveway as I left to go back to Seattle . . . as I had so many times before, I waved good-bye, as did he, if I had known it was the last . . .

Big Al, I love you . . . see you soon!

We are still missing you and all the fun stuff we did together!!! Sandy is missing you too!!! We all love you very much.
We are waiting for the Rapture!!
David, Shay, Lisa, Chelsey and of course your favorite Sophie Joy.

Dear Mrs. Lackey,
It has been nearly 40 years since you and I were fellow students at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College. The Lord sent Mr. Lackey there to give me a strong foundation in music, and to give you a wonderful husband. I am so thankful for the two years we spent there together.
By a sometimes winding path, the led me into teaching at a Christian school. Then He gave me a wonderful pastor husband. Together we have served Him in rural southern Indiana for the past 25...

They say you can tell a lot about a man by the company he keeps. If this is true, then Alex was truly a remarkable person, because the wife he left behind, Sandy, is a truly remarkable person.

Most of what I know about Alex Lackey I have gleaned from Sandy – I work with her – our desks occupy the hallway of our office, and have for over 5 years now. So, my relationship with Alex has been chiefly through my relationship with Sandy.

The times that I have been in...

We were challenged, inspired and loved by this humble and gifted man.
His memory carries on in the many people that he touched for the Savior.
