Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs Leaf:
I think you will remember that I was Dr Leaf's secretary from autumn 1964 until he became chief of medicine and Sophie took over! It was Sophie who just let me know about his death and so I want to send my sympathy and say hello to you after all these years. I feel like a ghost now when I go back to MGH for any medical appointments - it has all changed so much.
Very best regards

Dear Barbara: I don't know if you remember me, I was one of Alex's Fellows in the early '70s. I just heard with great emotion of his death. My sincere condolences to you and to the rest of the family. Dear Tammy:
I was sorry to read of your Dad's passing. I have fond and wonderful memories of being at your home and all the fun times we had when we were younger. My love and prayers to you, your mother and all of your family.

Tammy and Mrs. Leaf. I was so sad to hear about Dr. leaf. I have many nice memories of your family from many years ago. Roberta Sullivan Meehan

I send my condolences to Rebecca and her family. Rebecca and I were in Mr. Farnham's 6th grade classroom at the Wyman School. Rebecca had the most beautiful handwriting of anyone; I was quite envious. I visited your home a few times and remember aways feeling welcomed. Both of my parents have also died, and it definitely leaves a hole in your heart. I hope you have many wonderful memories to help you through this time of grief.
