Not sure what to say?

Judge Lehrer, thank you for showing me some key points regarding New Jersey's complicated legal system. Your keen insight and sharp legal mind were very much appreciated. Your pragmatic explanations of both case law and legal statues brought both attorneys and lay persons into equal underst.anding. You had witty sense of humor that could light up the room. May you rest in eternal peace and may the good lord enshrine your soul with perpetual light.

Al is not a soul to forget. He continues to live on in the lives of all that new him and will continue to do so until we are finally there with him in Heaven, and once again can enjoy his fabulous company. To Maryann and Alexis, you were blessed with a wonderful husband and father, and have memories that never will be forgotten.

Sgt R. Boyette (Monmouth County Corrections) wishes your family well.

Mary Ann and Alexis ~
I will always remember Al for all the fun and excitement he brought into everything he embraced. He was truly a one-of-a-kind friend, classmate and child of God, and please know he is as happy in his new home as he was in "God's little acre" in NJ ~ You all will continue to be remembered in my prayers.

Fondly,
Louise

Al was a great judge and good friend. My heart goes out to MaryAnn and family for your great loss.. May God bless you in this time of sorrow

So sad to hear this news. I will never forget the fun times I was able to spend with Al, John Stamler and my father while they all were county prosecutors. A great guy and an immense loss. We will all miss you.

May he rest in peace. Mary Ann and Alexis are in our thoughts and prayers

May you rest in peace dear friend. You were one of a kind and we will miss you.

A truly loyal and devoted friend. A wonderful spirit. Full of life. A wonderful listener. Great, great fun. An iconic stint as Monmouth County Prosecutor. He will be missed, but will never forgotten
