Nelda and family: I was so sad to just hear of Alec's passing. Our prayers go out to you all. May the memories be sweet for you and the sadness disappear. The Bearcats and Horned Frogs now have a fan to loudly cheer from on high. love, Phyllis and girls

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

What a remarkable man and true role model. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Zan.

May God give you the strength and the guidance to get through this sorrowful time.

May your family come to find the peace and joy in the love and memories Alex made on everyone who knew him. Will always remember him as a great friend in the naval service.

Dear Nelda and Family
Faye and I extend our condolences for the loss of Alex who was an outstanding man and a wonderful friend. I had the honor of serving with him on the USS Boxer over 50 years ago and maintaining a friendship since. I shall always cherish my good fortune in knowing Alex. Our love to all.

Nelda, we were so sad to learn of Judge's passing today. I was honored that he took the time to chat with me on most Sunday mornings. I admire his accomplishments in life, and the family you and he have made togther. I just read the article in the Community News on marriage. What a beautiful testament to your commitment to each other. He was a great family man, a great believer, community minded and a wonderful person to talk to. I especially loved his humor. Maybe I understood more...

Dear Nelda and Family,
We have so many fond memories of times shared with you and your family - both in your home and in the Aledo Church. You and Alex have been an integral part of the Aledo community for many years and Alex will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in the days ahead. Bob's words were comforting for all who attended the service - there is a place that is prepared for all of us and we will meet again in the "twinkling of an eye". God's blessings...

Alex was a magnificent person and very close friend from our Navy days together in the 1950s. Gerry and I deeply regret his passing and we extend our love to Nelda and all of the family.
