Not sure what to say?

I knew Alexander from the Chapel at St. Agnes Church in Key Biscayne. I visited it very often and many times I saw him there, he was always friendly and always smiling . I did not even know his name and was surprised when I saw him in The Islander newspaper. We will always pray for him. I met today his aunt at the chapel and told her how sorry I was.

Dear Sherryll,
I have just managed to open my sagomail web-box here in Buenos Aires - on borrowed equipment - and am quite devastated by your sad, sad news. Alex fought so hard, with your support, against his health problems and contrived to live life to the fullest possible extent. I really thought he would manage to outlive many of us contemporaries and that you would have a long and happy life together. God has willed otherwise and I know you will face this blow as you have...

Sheryl: I was so sad to read about the loss of your husband, Alex Olmedo. I knew him in Lima many many years ago and he was a great friend of my husband. I have also known you for many years here in Miami from Floyd Pearson (remember Norah and Bill Frates?). Also, we both worked at Marlow Cohen in the Grove. You were so lucky to have had Alex in your life, such a champion, "un Arequipenyo muy simpatico"...may your memories keep him close in your heart during this difficult time.

Dear Sherry,
Didier and I met you and Alex at Vero's and Lucho's place in Key Biscayne. Even as acquaintances we could feel the deep bond between you. We always looked forward to seing you both at the Garcia-Scharf's gatherings.Didier saw Alex's Obituary in the Herald, thus we took this opportunity to tell you how sorry we are for your loss. I had just seen Alex in his car a few weeks a go driving down US1 near U.M, and I tried to get his attention to wave hello.
I am glad to know...

The parishers at St Agnes will remember your smile and kindness always

Dear Sherry,

My heart goes out to you. I have not spent time with you and Alex for several years, but I have many memories of good times - - and particularly the great zest for life Alex had and shared. Remember the "happy hour" we shared with paper cups, sprite, and "phantom rum" at Fowler White's offices on Flagler Street? I hope that the wonderful years you shared with Alex bring you comfort and that you continue to enjoy life with the enthusiam Alex enjoyed during the years of...

Sheryl:

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I never knew Alex well, but I still remember seeing him quite often through the halls of Fowler, White when you were there. You two obviously had a beautiful bond that will last forever. Remember that God has plans for all of us, and for some reason, he needed Alex in Heaven.

My prayers are with you.
