Not sure what to say?

Dear John, Kara and family,

I was saddened to read about Mr. Petrovic's passing in the Kansas City Star. I just wanted you to know that I will be keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers. John, I still remember all the good times we had at the Olathe News. May God wrap his arms around your family in the days, weeks, and months to come.

Please accept my condolences. Alex (aka AP2) was a kind, gentle, and respectful man who truly loved his family. He touched my life & we had a lot of great conversations about family, being a grandparent, and being a good citizen. I loved watching his face light up when he talked about the grand kids and baseball. I am privileged that our paths crossed. I hope you will drape his coffin w/ a large Royals flag. I'm just glad you guys were all together before his passing. I know that AP2 would...

You were a wonderful brother to my wife, and dear friend to me. I will miss you, dear man.

I first met Alex through Waddell and Reed, and followed him for financial guidance wherever he went afterwards - even when I moved away from KC. I am deeply saddened to lose Alex on this side of heaven...our loss, heaven's gain.

Lunch with Alex

Alex was truly a special man. His love for his family was obvious to everyone who knew him and I so admired all he would do for our community. My children and I will never forget "Big Alex" who would make us laugh by photocopying his face on the office copy machine and then letting them partake in the fun. You will be sorely missed, Alex, and never forgotten. Love and prayers to the family.

I'm blessed to have met Alex, if only for a short while.. He will forever be in my heart, and has left many footprints. My thoughts & prayers for all of the family and friends, he will be deeply missed! With sympathy, Billie Davisson
