Not sure what to say?

I remember you as a kind and caring man. You were so easy to work with. You always had a smile on your face and a cherry good morning. I'm still friends with your wife, Phyllis, and we still have our " "phone chats" every other week. You were a "joy" to know! May you rest in peace! Love you, JoyAnne Schwartz

I met Alex in Diyabakir Turkey. We both worked for GE at that overseas site. It was sometimes later that I realized Alex was my sister-in-law's brother.

Alex was a 'cool' guy. Nothing fazed him. I guess his submarine experiences influenced his perspectives on life.

Rest in peace Alex. Henry Gall

Phyllis I am so sorry for the loss of a beautiful man and a wonderful and kind hearted neighbor. Katie and I will miss him terribly. We did not know when the services were and the paper read private. We will both be in touch. Do know you hold a special place in our hearts.

Dear Phyllis, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how you are feeling. Al was a very special man. Treasure your memories and always remember the good times.

Rest In Peace Spacetracker and Submarine Veteran. Thank you for your service.

I worked on Shemya and in Diyarbakir. I just want to say good-bye to a Spacetracker.

My working relationship and friendship with Al goes back half a century. He was an effective and capable manager who had the respect of all who worked with him. Spacetrack was never the same after he retired.

To his family, I extend my deepest condolences. He was a moral and honorable man and his was a life well lived.

Diyarbakir, Turkey - Alex was G.E. stateside manager.
