Alexander Raymond Stevens

Dear Jane and girls,

I'm "Lawrie" (Bill) Lawrence. For those who don't know, My mother, Virginia (Smith) was Jane's 1st cousin.

I did not know Alex, but remember well and appreciated very much his and Jane's familial concern when I was hit with a spinal cord disease in 1990. (They were probably made aware of that event by my mother whose idle was Barbara Hartwell. They both carried many of the same genes that drove those two strong-willed women, which, I'm sure, were passed on...
