I would see him often on his bike and thought one day when I had extra time I would stop and tell him something. When he showed me his ham radio gear over 40 years ago in the garage out back, I was fascinated and it started me on a path to get a license and learn to do the same thing he did. I'm sorry I never let him know that. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
