THOMAS JEFFERSON SMIGO

I worked with Al Waller at the Navy ASO, on the 2nd shift, from Nov. 1972 until the time of his retirement. He was a shift supervisor and I was a dynamic scheduler both working in our ASO Data Center. When I applied for a supervisor's position in the data center, Al Waller and late Alice Riehl were primarily responsible in selecting me for that job. Al Waller was a great man. I worked with him at Navy Avaiation Supply Office from 1972 until his retirement sometime in the early 1980's. Al supported my candidacy for Supv. Computer Operator in 1982, and I was selected for that job. Al was the acting 2nd Shift Administrator Supv. and we both worked hand-in-hand to accomplish the mission of ASO. Al Waller was a true gentleman and dedicated employee of Navy ASO. He will be missed by all his friends, peers, and associates.

My condolences to the family of Mr Waller. I had not spoken with him for several years. He was a very nice man and friend to my late parents.

RIP Mr. Waller. You were a good man and will be missed.

I will miss Uncle Al, he was always good to me. May he rest in peace. Love ya and you will be missed. Your California Niece, Cynt
