Not sure what to say?

So sad to learn about Alex's passing today. My friend, gave me an initial tree when my husband and I got married 25 years ago and I loved it so much that it was my go-to' for pretty much every wedding I attended in the last 25 years. I loved talking to him in the shop at Los Patios. He was a very nice man and I'm so thankful I knew him.

Donna - Sorry about your old man - I remember him well checking me out when I came to pick you up on our various social interactions (dates?). Keep on keeping on - Jim McCracken [email protected]

Alex was a wonderful Art Teacher I had the honor of teaching with at Jefferson High School. He was extremely talented! He was a great friend and the Art world will miss him greatly! Rest In Peace Alex!

Mr Yamin was my teacher at emerson. I was very saddened to hear of his passing. He was my favorite teacher and I have thought him through the years with very fond memories. He always praised my work and encouraged me to continue in art . I will never forget him my love to my dear and wonderful teacher and to his family.

Sending thoughts and prayers to the Yamin family! Charles Engelken also sends thoughts and prayers to Yamin family! Charles Engelken was a lifelong friend of Mr Yamin! He is so sorry for the loss! Linda Kortan

I am so sad to hear of Alex's passing. I will always remember Alex as a sweet, gentle man always smiling. He gifted Mom and Dad on their 50th wedding anniversary with his beautiful tree painting. The world has lost a genuine gentleman. Alex, may you always rest in peace. Our deepest sympathy, Janice & Richard Hobbs

Offering my deepest condolences to the family. May God grant you strength and courage as you face the coming days.

Mr. Yasmin was my art teacher at Jefferson. Always liked his kind manner and appreciated his honest opinions. He was a good person.
