Not sure what to say?

The last time I saw Alex, she said "Hey Doc Loch, how ya doin"? I said, "great. I haven't seen you in a while. Stop up at my office (at Tellurian, where we both worked) and visit! The last words I heard her say were "I will". I miss you my young friend. My world was brighter with you in it.

Alex was a friend growing up, one of the earliest playmates in my working memory, the only other Russian directly born abroad in the community when we were young, although she moved away shortly after. Coincidentally, had just thought of her today, the name has popped into my head. Very sorry to learn she has passed, and far too soon. I recalled enjoying talking and playing as children. Best wishes.

Alex was a force of nature. I knew her before we became colleagues at Tellurian and counted her as a friend. Working with her and just being in her presence was pure joy. She lit up the world around her. I really miss her. I am comforted knowing that the hope and joy she gave to others remains with us all.

Prayers to the Becklin (Hetico) family from the Swank family. God bless and prayers for peace.

Alex - an artist on every level. I loved her drawings, so intricate in their focus and detail, attentive to what she intuited, a medium for her profound empathy. She told me that yes, the eyes are a window to the soul, but she liked to focus on the hands, because they tell the nuances of the story of a person's life. I can picture Alex holding Katherine's hand, even as a teen. The depth of their partnership takes my breath away, infinite and inspiring. I will forever see the world more...

I worked with Alex at Tellurian and saw what a good kind soul she had. I only worked with her for a while but she was very kind and caring. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Sorry to hear of Alex's passing and condolences to her family.Thank you for the wonderful obituary which was full of her many accomplishments. May God be a comfort to you all in this time of grieving your loss Love, Linda and Roger Pettersen (Advent)
