I'm so sorry to learn of her passing. Sandy and I were friends when we attended Wm Penn Jr High together. The world has lost a great advocate!

I'm so sorry to learn of the passing of Sandy. I worked for her at the EF. She was a stauch advocate for the rights of people with disabilities. I learned a great deal from her. She will be missed.

Recently, my wonderful and good hearted cousin, Alexandra, passed away. I loved her like a sister and her passing saddens me. It was a joy, when she and her family visited us in Germany. Her loving kindness was always welcome. My condolences, caring and loving thoughts to her family and friends. Sandy will be missed. It was such a privilege to have known Sandy and to have worked with her on implementing epilepsy programs in U.S. communities during the span of her multiple leadership positions with the Epilepsy Foundation. Her passion for improving the lives of people with disability in general, and people with epilepsy, in particular was palpable and infectious. Her warmth and spirit of collaboration made any interactions with her a complete pleasure. My deepest condolences to her family.
