Alexia Nicole Garza, 11, entered the Lord’s heavenly kingdom Sunday night, August 10, 2025 in Harlingen, Texas.

Alexia was born on July 29, 2014 in Harlingen, Texas to Edgar Moises Garza Cardona & Ana Laura Rodriguez. 

Alexia grew up in Harlingen, where her vibrant personality and spirited nature quickly became evident. She attended 5th grade at Long Elementary School where she showed an early expression of the energy and enthusiasm she would carry into her life. She enjoyed subjects such as math & reading and found joy in reading the Babysitter’s Club books. She loved science most of all and actively participating in the science labs. Alexia had a desire to uplift others through knowledge & hard work, and she always supported & motivated her classmates and friends.

A beautiful little girl with a gentle smile, Alexia brought joy to her family and will be remembered for her colorful personality, generous heart, her kindness, and her uncanny wit. She was a steady source of love, laughter, encouragement, compassionate in her actions, and loyal to those she loved.

Alexia lived life to the fullest, her zest for life was contagious, and had an infectious loving smile. She enjoyed playing video games, and loved to eat spicy Buldak Ramen soups. Alexia’s presence will continue to live on in her family’s life in countless ways.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Alexia Nicole Garza leaves behind love, strength, and generosity. In the beautiful tapestry of life, Alexia’s thread shines bright, a reminder of how deeply one life can bless so many others.

Alexia leaves behind her loving family to cherish her beautiful memory, mother, Ana Laura Rodriguez; father, Edgar Moises Garza Cardona; one brother, Angel Rodriguez, and two sisters, Dulce Maria Garza & Luz Elena Garza.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Alexia’s life during visitation on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit.
