My heart goes out to her family, I am so sorry for your precious loss. Alexis was my nurse practitioner for so many years, I felt so comfortable confiding in her about my medical issues. She always had a smile and she was always genuinely concerned and always went out of her way to get me the answers. I loved her laughter and she would never rush her visit with you. She was my go-to-girl and I will miss her dearly. She was so very special, and she will forever live in my heart and memories....

In high school, my uncle David Vucurevich was her ecsort when she was track and field queen. In college, Alexis was my nursing instructor and mentor. I immediately had a connection with Alexis. She gave me confidence and encouragement to never give up, after each failure in school. Her laugh, her smile, and her wisdom in nursing and education is unforgettable. She will always have a special place in my heart.

I am going to miss Alexis. Conversations were never boring, and she was passionate about her opinions and her life work as a nurse practitioner and nurse educator.

Alexis and I worked together as nurse, and were friends since junior high. I adored her as a coworker, friend, and she was also my healthcare provider for years. Condolences to her daughter and entire family/friends. I miss you, Alexis, prayers, and love going out to you and loved ones.
