John, Karyn and John, I am truly shocked and devastated. We were on S.I. last week. I wish I had known her condition was grave. For thirty-two years she was my neighbor, friend, confidant, counselor and mentor. My life was changed and I was blessed knowing her. We cannot make it back to S.I. as Veronica was in a car accident last night, Wednesday and Bernadette is in Aruba. I am so very sorry to hear this news. Alexis was like my favorite aunt when I was with Smith Abbot. She was a joy to wotk with, with a wicked sense of humor. She would always listen to me when I would talk about my kids. I will miss her terribly.
