Not sure what to say?

Thinking of Al and all the times we got together at the club. The Jazz Workshop was a real piece of history and Al made it happen.

My husband, Neil Robison, and I were both flight instructors to Al, at Frickelton Aviation, at the Madison airport. During flight lessons was one of the rare times I saw Al being serious. He was an excellent flight student. When not in the airplane, he was ever the jokester. Eventually, we ended up as neighbors in downtown Madison. Al was always interesting, always pushing boundaries. He will be missed. Condolences to his family.

I've known Al since 1977. He was one of the original Resurrection cemetery gym boys. Al was one of the best and most honest and straightforward friends I've ever had. I worked for him and Tom for six years at the club, and I can say definitively that Al was also the best boss I've ever had. The world will not be the same place without him. I'll miss you always, buddy. RIP.

Sorry for your loss. I only met Al once. Tex worked for Tom. So sorry to hear of Toms passing also.

You will be missed. This is truly the end of an amazing era! You were an interesting and exciting person to know. Madison will never be the same...

Spent weeks with Al in Mallorca Spain. He loved the Island and the costs (A room and three meals for $5.00 a day) Many fond memories!!

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
