My Uncle Poncho was a great man. He was brother to my mother and they both instilled love and generosity in our families. I am most grateful that he brought his family out from Laredo to grow up as neighbors and life long friends. My first cousins are a deep part of my life. While we may not have gotten together as often over the last few years, we have such a strong family bond, time does not matter.

I will always remember his big smile and kind spirit. He would always say "come in come in" "sit down" "how are you?", "eat" :) ". I loved talking with him. He was a most wonderful grandfather too!
