Alfonso ORTIZ

ORTIZ, Alfonso 90, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2014 surrounded by his wife of 65 years, Rosa and daughter, Alina. He was born in Havana, Cuba and fled the communist island in 1960. He retired from GTE and then as owner of Midtown Telcom. He was a member of the Cuban Civic Club, a Knight in the Krewe of Sant'Yago, and Toastmasters en Español. Along with his wife and daughter. he leaves behind his sister, Cristina; numerous nieces and nephews; brothers and sisters-in-law.
