I just found out today about Dr. Vazquez passing away, and I am saddened and shocked by the news. He was my dentist for 10+ years, and I never knew any dentist who was nicer. I am terrified of going to the doctor, but I always felt calm around him, even if he had to give me bad news. I will miss his down-to-earth approach and refreshing lack of an ego. He was the only dentist I ever recommended. My condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones.

Alfonso was my classmate at UCSF Dental School. I always enjoyed his sense of humor and found him to be a genuine good person. I saw him every month at the dental dinner meetings, so I was shocked to hear of his passing. I will miss him and we all have lost a good soul and ethical dentist.
