Mr. Adams was the manager of the Sears store in Huntsville when I was a classmate of Al Jr's at Huntsville High. Myself and many of our classmates had summer and/or Christmas jobs at Sears because of Mr. Adams. We all thought highly of him, in fact, at his urging, I seriously considered a career with Sears after graduation from U of A in Tuscaloosa. He was a positive role model for us and I was very fortunate to have had his example in my life during those formative years.
