Dear Mrs. Berti and Sharilyn, I just saw the obituary of you husband/father on the internet and wanted to send you my condolences. It's been 44 years since my Mt. Pleasant days and you probably don't even remember me. I am Rex and Lula Olsen's daughter. I used to teach Sharilyn in 4-H along with Karen Winterbottom. Sorry for all of you at this sad time. I lost both of my folks 6 1/2 years ago and it was very hard, but we always seem to get thru things. At least none of them are suffering now....

I had lots of memories as I read last evening of the passing of Al Berti. He was a well loved person in our community and in my life. I remember his greatness in being such a kind man. He was always so cordial and made everyone feel special. What an attribute to have, in living in a small town where everyone knows everyone and each others faults and goodness are pretty much known by everyone else. He seemed to be so accepting and good no matter what he knew about anyone else. I have loved his...

We were fortunate to meet Al through our neice Sharon and truly felt he was a caring and fine gentleman. We enjoyed visiting with them at their winter home in Quartzite, AZ.
Our lives are better for having known him, Naomi and son Dick.

We were sorry to hear about Al being sick and not being able to come to Az any more.I think the last time we saw you was in Mexico.
I sure did like the good sausage he use to make.
I have alot of good memories of going to the store and my dad (Albert Hansen)talking about working there many years ago when he was young and doing deliveries on his bike.
I enjoyed visiting with you and Al when I use to deliver the mail.
