Not sure what to say?

I always enjoyed being around Al and particularly liked his quirky wit, and his delight in creatures, especially the lovely Max. He and Gloria have been extraordinarily kind to me, and I'm honored to have known him. Sending love and condolences to all the family and the many others who will be feeling his loss.

Condolences, hugs and love to you all, Gloria, Martha, David, Jennifer and families.

The best neighbor ever. . . . lots of good memories. We'll miss you Al!

There was never a conversation with Al that didn't leave me a better person. He was always generous with his time, heart and words - even in the midst of extreme suffering. Our family is mourning with yours and praying for your comfort. We have all experienced a great loss.

Thank you, Al for being a relentless champion of human dignity and a picture of kindness and mercy. We cherish our memories of you.

Kind thoughts are with the family at this very difficult time of grief. May your fond memories bring you comfort. God's promise at Jeremiah 29:11,12 will give you strength.

All of my talks with Al over the years were both interesting and pleasant. He had a determination that would not quit! I appreciated his and Glo's sense of being in-laws and grandparents. He is missed.
