Alfred John Booth

Al was a warm, friendly and extraordinary neighbor who welcomed us into the neighborhood this past summer.

We enjoyed having him in our home where he shared loving stories with us of his life with Gladys and his children; their trips around the country and his time in the Navy. Every one of them told with with fondness, pride and a smile.

Karen and I cannot imagine having a better neighbor and we will miss him dearly. Even though our time knowing Al was short, we...

Mr. Booth was a fine man. Of course, he worried me when he would climb the trees in his front and back yard and clip the branches off, or when he would do repairs around the house. However, you could never keep him from doing what he loved most...and that was taking care of his yard. I have very fond memories (sort of a second dad to me) and I will miss him sorely. However, my fond memories and numerous conversations with him will keep him close to me.
