Not sure what to say?

I attended his writers' workshop for more than two years in the mid-80s. What an inspiration, and so clear in his teaching methods! it still use the TV Scriptwriter's Handbook, but now I write novels and short stories, not screenplays. What an amazing teacher!

To Al's family,

I am a screenwriter today because of your loved one. He was an amazing teacher, and he meant the world to me. I will never, ever forget him. I'm sure he left many wonderful memories. His words will echo in my mind for as long as I write. My deepest condolences.

Sincerely,

To the family of Alfred Brenner,
I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Brenner. I was a student of his in the late 70's at UCLA and then was invited by him to be part of his private work shops. I have thought about him often over the years as I have continued to write, wondering what he would say or what advise he might give me. I know he will be dearly missed.
God Bless him and may...
