ALFRED BUTLER

BUTLER, Alfred Fletcher Sr., 84, of Bumpass, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 12, 2012. A devoted husband, he was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Pate Butler. He is survived by his son, A.F.B. Jr. (Trisha); daughter, Sandra Donovan; four much loved grandchildren, Natasha Broaddus (Stacey), Amy Redd (Jason), Nathan Butler (Beth) and Whitney Donovan; and five great-grandchildren he enjoyed so much, Donovan, Dain and Mason Broaddus, Karlie Redd and Jamison Butler. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 15 at the Pate Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, Va. 23060-9904.
