Not sure what to say?

Dear John, Marcia, Jackie & Bill,
Dads never really leave us, you know. They're always with us whether as an angel on our shoulder, a likeness of him crossing the street, riding a bike or driving a car. I know my dad visits me often... I can smell those stinky cigars he used to smoke and I know he's with me.
Love to you all.
Jan

She let me hear him snoring in peace. I couldn't be there, but because of Marcia, I was. She's the best! John, you are the best. I'm glad that I could talk to you...

Dear John and Marcia,
We are very sorry to hear that your Dad passed away on Saturday. He was very fortunate to receive the loving care from you two that he did over the years.
We recollect meeting both of your parents, John, when they came to visit us in Andover. Must have been at least 25 years ago?? We enjoyed meeting them and remembered your dad as a sociable and handsome man. As ex-military, it seems fitting that he left this world on Armed Forces Day.
Please...
