So sorry to hear of Dr.Coats passing. My years of working with the outstanding staff at Life Tech were most valuable for me. Dr. Coats was a true inspiration for me.

I met Dr Coats in the mid 1990's as a contract photographer, hired to capture and catalogue new products at Life Tech. While he was mostly in the background and let Howard, Angela or others handle his marketing, the few meetings we had were very professional but personal as well. Dr. Coats had a profound impact on my life. My time at Life-Tech, particularly in the early years, was a lot of fun. He showed confidence in me and provided valuable opportunities. I´ll always be thankful and hold his memory dear.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Al´s passing.
