Alfred L. Davenport Jr.

Al was a mentor and an inspiration to many, many USC Sig Ep brothers. While he indeed exemplified the honorific, "Greatest Generation", he was understanding and incredibly supportive of those that followed; Beats", "Baby Boomers" through "GenX". Al gave many, many evening hours at the chapter house lending guidance to the undergrads, helping the chapter manage through a number of membership crises over the years. I will easily remember what a great Sig Ep brother he was as a student and more so as an alumni. A caring, sincere, dedicated person to his family, friends and others. His memory will be carried on at the fraternity.
