DAVIS, Alfred T. Max Beloved Husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, cousin, uncle and friend entered rest August 22, 2017. Max fought a heroic battle against pancreatic cancer, a cause he championed dearly. Service: 10:00 a.m Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Baker Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1050 E. Humbolt Street. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington. Wake: 6-10:00 p.m. Friday, September 8 at Arlington Christian Bible Fellowship; 1501 S. Center Street in Arlington. A retired educator of more than twenty-five years in Dallas Independent School District; minister of the Gospel and devoted member of Saint James African Methodist Episcopal Church for thirty-seven years, T. Max, from Liberia, was a leader in both the african and Black communities, and friend to many. He leaves to celebrate his life, 92 year old Mother, Eliza Nyanforde Elliott; devoted wife of thirty-six solid years, Mrs. Maima Lauretta Massaquoi-Davis; children, Athelia (Marvin), Irving (Wani), Debra, Alfreda, Tonia and Alfred Tabbeh, III.; grandchildren, Reggie, Denise, Jeromie, Blessing, Taelyn and Chloe"; many other family members and friends.
