McGettigan permeated the very fabric of this community of Lansingburgh, NY. Both these men influenced my life in ways they never knew. How blessed I am to have known them!

I have many fond memories of Fr. Ellis from his time at St. Augustine's. He was a man of remarkable insight and quirky wit! Whenever he was pondering a point or just "messing with you" he would rock back and forth, toe to heel, and wait. He had a vision for his church and most often it included something for you to do!
