I am so deeply sorry to learn of Al's passing. The Evans family was one of the first families we met when we moved to Joliet in the fall of 1964. We joined Westminster Presbyterian Church, where their family were members, and I knew David and Dale from Joliet West High. I only met Al a year ago but he bought much joy to my life. You are truly missed.

When I was in high school and junior college at JTHS, I had a part time job at Lewis Bros. shoe store where Al also worked. That was many years ago, but I remember him well as a very kind and pleasant person. My condolences for your loss. Sue Martin
